Diane Sue Turner, age 55 of Perry passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her home. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be announced by Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Perry Chapel once a date is decided upon.
Diane was born July 16, 1964 to the late Richard Amos and Carol Ann (Dansby) Turner in Huntsville, Alabama. Her family moved to Michigan when she was a child and made Morrice, Michigan her home. She graduated from Morrice High School in 1982 and went on to marry Donald Chapman in 1983 in Perry, Michigan. From that union came her cherished sons; Justin and Corey Chapman. Diane was known by many as the owner and operator of Diane’s Country Kitchen in Morrice. She was always willing to help anyone in need or someone with a cause she thought was worthy. She was very involved in her community and was always supportive of the programs offered through Morrice Area Schools; raising funds for the students and their activities. She was an avid supporter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association which was a very important to her and those around her. Diane enjoyed attending mud bogs and spending time with friends and family. Diane lived her life honestly and loved those around her fiercely, especially her grandson Alec.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children; Justin (Shawn Green) Chapman and Corey Chapman, her grandson; Alec, her siblings; Ron (Dawn) Turner, Patty (John) Pearce, and Ken Turner, her nieces and nephews whom she adored, her ex-husband and friend; Donald Chapman, and many friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for future designation.
