Listeners will hear something different when they tune in to Owosso's heritage radio brand, WOAP, on Monday morning, March 4th.  The station's current morning show, "BS in the morning," hosted by station manager, Tony Burkehead (aka "Boomer"), and Sue Collins, will be replaced by The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show.

The Dallas, Texas-based Kidd Kraddick program, for decades, starred David Cradick, (aka "Kidd Kraddick,") until his untimely death in July 2013.  The decision was made to continue the program, which is syndicated on more than 70 stations nationwide, using the Kraddick name, hosted by the cast that traditionally joined Kraddick daily for the program.

WOAP signed on the air in 1948, first owned and operated by the Owosso Argus-Press, hence the call letters.  The station today broadcasts from the same studio and tower location on N. M-52 that it has for more than 70 years.

Boomer and Sue aren't going anywhere.  A note posted on the station's website reads "As the 'mom' and 'pop' of The O focus on building and operating this beast, we had to bring in a new morning show."

The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show debuts on WOAP at 6am on Monday March 4th.
