Another storm system bringing accumulating snow to mid-Michigan arrives Wednesday evening, forecasters say, and for some, it could be as much as 4 inches. MLive's Mark Torregrossa says everyone in southern lower Michigan should expect 1 to 2 inches, and that while the Wednesday evening commute will likely be uneventful, road conditions by Thursday morning could be very slick.

Torregrossa said while the storm is still 24 hours away, models have so far been consistent with the timeline, which suggests Shiawassee County may be one area that gets higher accumulation totals.

Meanwhile, daytime temperatures are slowly climbing, and weekend highs will top 50 degrees.

The grounds of Perry City Hall were filled with eager Easter egg hunters on Saturday morning. The annual hunt is organized by Perry Baptist Church and, in addition to 10,000 eggs, also featured a presentation for kids that shared the story of Jesus' death and resurrection.
