The Shiawassee County Health Department is sponsoring a Wellness Through Yoga Class this summer at the First United Methodist Church in Owosso and the Community Center in Corunna at McCurdy Park. The classes are FREE and are tailored for senior citizens but anyone is welcome to attend. The classes are for those looking to increase their flexibility and balance and are taught by volunteer exercise leaders Mary Buginsky and Chonny Sarnik.

Classes begin May 7th and will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 10 am to 11 am in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church in Owosso and Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 11 am at the Corunna Community Center in McCurdy Park. Please bring a towel, yoga mat and the determination to improve your well-being. A $1 donation for facility upkeep will be accepted, but is not mandatory.
