Lansing Homeless Outreach To Begin Work In Owosso July 29th

The Homeless Angels organization that helps to meet the needs of homeless individuals and families in Lansing, will begin its service with a Mobile Free Street Store in Owosso starting at 3 p.m. on July 29th then host a Dinner in the Park with service between 4-5 p.m. in the parking lot of the future facility at 218 N. Park Street in Owosso. O-Town Café in Owosso will sponsor the dinner.

The Shiawassee County Health Department will be on-site offering education on Hepatitis A and vaccines. Fiesta Salons of Owosso will be providing free hair-cuts. Footprints of Michigan will be providing shoes for those that are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Also, Shiawassee Hope, Recovery Pathways, Salvation Army, Human Trafficking Task Force of Shiawassee County, SafeCenter and the Laingsburg Clothesline will be onsite to assist in educating and providing services to those we serve. This event is open to the homeless and those that are at risk of homelessness.
The general public is welcome to attend from 2 pm – 3 pm to tour the facility, become a Homeless Angels SOS Partner, and learn how you can be a part of helping to eradicate homelessness.
