Hundreds Without Power In Perry-Laingsburg Area After Saturday Storms
Consumers Energy: No Estimated Time of Restoration Yet
Strong storms pushed through Shiawassee County on Saturday afternoon, knocking down branches and power lines and spurring several power outages. Two swaths of Consumers customers impacted are in the Perry-Laingsburg area.
Less than 100 customers are without power north of Laingsburg along Meridian Road between Price and Hibbard. Consumers Energy says crews are still working to determine the cause and no estimated time of restoration has been issued.

Nearly 200 Consumers customers are in the dark in Woodhull Township, south of Bath Road between Shoeman and Shaftsburg Road. Similarly, crews are working to determine the cause and no estimated time of restoration has been issued.
An earlier outage impacting residents west of Owosso has ended. 56 customers remain in the dark in the Durand area.
