A Wind Advisory goes into effect for Shiawassee County beginning at 7pm and continuing until 10am Friday. The wind accompanies other winter weather that will impact the area. Winter Weather Advisories have already been issued for neighboring counties.
Snow, ice and wind will combine to continue a trend of dangerous driving conditions in the region, while the wind will also plunge the wind chill into the subzero range once again.
A Flash Freeze is possible Thursday evening as unseasonably warm temperatures sharply decline to the below freezing mark, while, potentially, precipitation in the form of rain falling turns to snow. There is also the concern of wet roads freezing.
