Salvation Army Owosso Seeking Bell Ringers

Volunteer Bell Ringers for 2019 Christmas Season Can Now Register Online

The Salvation Army Owosso is now seeking individuals and groups to volunteer to bell ring this year via the new national website RegistertoRing.com.

All Salvation Army corps facilities will now be using the new Register to Ring website. Groups and individuals may sign up online for various kettle locations throughout the Owosso area.

Kettle season will begin this year on November 11th 2019 at limited locations, and at all locations starting November 29th 2019. The goal for the 2019 kettle season for Owosso is $55,000.

If groups or individuals would like to volunteer they may visit RegistertoRing.com and enter their zip code, create an account and schedule a time and location. For those who are not skilled with computer use, they may still volunteer by calling (989)-725-7485.

Local businesses may sponsor a kettle location throughout the Christmas season for the amount of $500.00 and their business name and logo will be displayed at the kettle every day throughout the 2019 season. Contact The Salvation Army Owosso for further details.

A 70 year old Grand Ledge man was killed when he struck a vehicle head-on while riding his motorcycle. The crash happened in Clinton County on Sunday night when the driver of a car crossed the center line in order to pull up to her mailbox.
