Shiawassee County Sheriff Brian BeGole's office is sharing more information about an incident in Perry Township. A release from Lt. Cory Carson says deputies responded to a South Beardslee Road home just after 11pm on Tuesday April 25th on the report of a suicide. Upon arriving at the home, detectives observed some suspicious circumstances and requested the Michigan State Police crime lab. MSP's crime lab responded and conducted a thorough investigation of the scene, Corey said.
The Tuesday night search of the residence revealed narcotics, so MAGNET was also called in to assist.
The Shiawassee County Sheriff's Department is treating the death as suspicious as the investigation continues.
